sunday morning
okay one week down, nine more weeks of school till june holidays.yes thinking ahead is the way to go. haha woke up bright and early and just spent an hour reading the sunday times. which nut gets up before seven on weekends? but as i was saying, there was this article that left me flabbergasted - no, i need a word that reflects the intensitiy of my astonishment and comes with a negative connotation. goodness gracious. (pardon, this has no link to my previous statement, it's just a mild exclaimation i had to let out.)
that aside, my mother and i have recently engaged in a refreshing game we made up. haha there's no name to it yet but is basically played by comparing the effects of my canoe trainings versus the effects of her domestic chores. it started with, "look mum, i've got three cuts and two bruises today. ouch." and she went, "want to challenge me? i got this cut when i was cutting the meat and this cut and this..." wad can i say. round two unofficially started when i was being screamed at for closing the fridge. in my mum's opinion, i slammed it. (it's been the nine thousand six hundred and fifty-seventh time she aggressively pointed out that i use an unnecessarily great amount of strength to close any open "doors") so matter-of-factly i replied," sorry mum, building muscles." (i've given up defending my stand that my mum is being oversensitive because i swear i hardly exerted any force on the door) swift as lightning, mum said, "yah lahh, canoe some more lahh. i vacuumed and mop so much and build so much muscles already you still can challenge me right." right. time out.
heading to macritchie again in the afternoon for another thrilling session of paddling. haha followed by my first outing with J1 teammates. (: hmmm. this week came and went rather sluggishly i'd say. delightfully we had a day off on tues in celebration of founder's day. towned with outing clique, then supported hc idol. other than that, alot of tutorials, darn PW coming up, oh-so-fun egg project, study-cum-gossip session after school. :D
sn sports day is in a month's time. reminisce! GO GREEEEN. (:
it's ironic how i'm apprehensive of changes yet subconsciously i dont trust myself that i can sustain my interest without the occurrence of changes. something that stays the same is no doubt something safe. something new, somthing different, somehow oozes appeal and captivates. i bewilder myself.
